Yol Swan has been involved with art and the creative process since childhood, in one way or another. Her keen eye for beauty and design comes naturally, and she has helped others transform their environment or enhance their business image with graphic design or web design. From a drawing to a web site to a house, she brings her deep sense of balance and color to every aspect of her work. Yol's experience working with many publishing companies has also given her the tools to improve any web site and marketing campaign with both words and images. She combines all of her skills for web design and search engine optimization as well.
Yol started creating collages since she was a young girl and still thinks that collages have been the theme of her life. For her, life is nothing but a collage of experiences and lessons. In a sense, designing Sacred Jewelry is another form of collage for her, where she can put things together and create a thematic unity, except that gemstones have a very special significance for Yol because of their subtle healing energies. This new designing venture has become a healing experience for her that now she wants to share with you.
Her Sacred Gemstone Jewelry Designs are the result of the life long exploration of different careers and paths, including art, music, spirituality, meditation, homeopathy, Vedic sciences and Ayurveda, as well as of a series of healing and mystical experiences she had with semi precious crystals and gemstones.

Yol had previously explored designing silver jewelry in Mexico, and now she can add a deeper meaning and intention to her creations because of the healing properties of gemstones and her knowledge of Vedic sciences. In other words, she is now able to combine what she knows about color, energy, vibration and holistic and energy healing into an artistic yet practical form. Designing Spiritual Gemstone Jewelry --both Chakra Jewelry, Healing Jewelry and Custom Malas--- has fulfilled the purpose of integrating her studies on color therapy and homeopathy with her understanding of the Chakra System and other aspects of Vedic sciences with her creative ideas and artistic eye and love for beauty and color.
Her vocal studies at Berklee College of Music first opened the doors into the world of resonance and vibration, and how these work in the body. She had profound healing experiences while working with her voice. Her yogic spiritual path, along with her studies in homeopathy and Ayurveda have continued to fine tune that perception and to help her understand every aspect of life as energy and vibration in resonance with everything else. She believes that subtle yet profound changes can be brought by focused energy and intention!
