Description
This Hanuman Fine Silver Amulet was created with pure silver (PMC) and inspired by a popular depiction of Lord Hanuman carrying a mountain. The background shows a swirl pattern to convey the flying motion of Hanuman rushing back to Lanka with the mountain on his hand.
This Hanuman Fine Silver Amulet weighs 16 gm of pure silver and comes with a free satin cord and a sterling silver clasp for you to wear it right away. The ring holding it is also sterling silver. It measures approx. 1-1/4 inches in diameter.
Hanuman is worshiped as a representation of physical strength, perseverance and devotion. He is Lord Shiva incarnated, teaching humanity the value and power of devotion to God in the form of Lord Rama, of whom he is a faithful servant. He is also the son of the wind and can become huge or tiny at will, symbolizing the qualities of humility and will power.
As the story goes in the Ramayana, Hanuman went looking for the Sanjivani herb to save Lakshmana, Lord Rama’s brother, who was fatally wounded in a battle against Ravana’s army. Unable to figure out which was the herb he was supposed to bring, he simply outrooted the whole mountain and brought it to Lord Rama, so he could choose from the variety of plants on it. Lakshmana was thus saved.
